Sockapal-2-za Socks arrived!

The box from my Sockapal-2-za pal arrived, and it was a joy to open.

Anita sent a couple balls of yarn, some chocolate, a lovely note, and a pair of socks knit from Lorna's Laces Shepherd Sock yarn in a beautiful green-amber-purple colorway.

All wrapped up in sheep-patterned tissue paper!

The balls of yarn are Paint Box worsted-weight wool in a blue-green-purple colorway, from Knit One Crochet Too.

More importantly, the chocolate is a selection of Hershey's miniatures -- very welcome after 2 weeks of Christmas cookies.

The sock pattern is Jaywalker from MagKnits, and the angular design really shows off the color changes.

I think the heel was done with a slip stitch for reinforcement

Clyde investigated the new socks, and gave them his sniff of approval.
